Move over, America’s ass: We might be about to see Asgard’s ass. (Assgard? I’ll workshop it.)Of course, there’s more going on in this new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth and likely most unhinged instalment in the Thor series. We get some voice-over from director/co-writer/star Taika Waititi, explaining how Thor (Chris Hemsworth) went “from dad bod to god bod” (so we’re still fat-shaming our deeply traumatised hero for getting a lil beer belly? OK?). We get our first good look at Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, in all his grayscale glory, and some fun banter from Jane-Thor (Natalie Portman), who seems to have become more interesting as well as more jacked. And we get to see Russell Crowe’s jovial Zeus — sporting a Greek-ish accent right out of a ’90s Australian sketch comedy show — who “flicks” Thor’s clothes off in front of what looks like
